Hi! This is my Page of Warm Fuzzies.

Here's to your heart, your dream
and the difference you make.

It was true then, and it's true now. All human progress has been the story of someone who believed passionately in something and someone who believed passionately in that person.
Whichever you are, this page is sincerely dedicated to you.

People must believe in each other
and feel that it can be done and must be done.
In that way we are enormously strong.
We must keep up each other's courage.

-Vincent van Gogh

Love is the master key
that opens the gates of happiness

-Oliver Wendell Holmes

When things in your life seem almost too much to handle,
when 24 hours in a day are not enough,
remember the mayonnaise jar... and the coffee.

A professor stood before her philosophy class. In front of here were some items. When the class began, she picked up a large, empty mayonnaise jar and proceeded to fill it with golf balls.

She then asked the students if the jar was full.
They agreed that it was. So the professor then picked up a box of pebbles and poured them into the jar. She shook the jar lightly. The pebbles rolled into the open areas between the golf balls.

She then asked the students again if the jar was full.
They agreed it was.

The professor next picked up a box of sand and poured it into the jar. Of course, the sand filled up everything else.

She asked once more if the jar was full.
The students responded with an unanimous "yes".

The professor then produced two cups of coffee from under the table and poured the entire contents into the jar, effectively filling the empty space between the sand.

The students laughed. "Now," said the professor, as the laughter subsided, "I want you to recognize that this jar represents your life. The golf balls are the important things - your family, your children, your health, your friends, your favorite passions - things that if everything else was lost and only they remained,
your life would still be full.

The pebbles are the other things that matter like your job, your house, your car. The sand is everything else -- the small stuff.

If you put the sand into the jar first," she continued, "there is no room for the pebbles or the golf balls. The same goes for life. If you spend all your time and energy on the small stuff, you will never have room for the things that are important to you.

Pay attention to the things that are critical to your happiness. Play with your children. Take time to get medical checkups. Take your partner out to dinner. Play another 18. There will always be time to clean the house, and fix the disposal. Take care of the golf balls first, the things that really matter. Set your priorities. The rest is just sand."

One of the students raised her hand and inquired what the coffee represented.

The professor smiled. "I'm glad you asked. It just goes to show you that no matter how full your life may seem,
there's always room for a coffee break."

It is a simple, liberating reality -
The best things in life are mine for the choosing.

Happily may I walk.
May it be beautiful before me.
May it be beautiful behind me.
May it be beautiful below me.
May it be beautiful above me.
May it be beautiful all around me.
In beauty it is finished.

-Navajo Night Chant

A thing of beauty is a joy for ever:
Its loveliness increases;
it will never pass into nothingness.

-John Keats

But every house where Love abides
And Friendship is a guest,
Is surely home, and home-sweet-home;
For there the heart can rest.

-Henry van Dyke

Honor your own stories and tell them too.
The tales may not seem very important,
but they are what makes each of us who we are.

-Madeleine L'Engle

When I see my life
as a series of unfolding miracles,
I'll always sail forth
with hope, tranquility and joy in my heart.

It is handed to you, but only if you look for it.
You search, you break your heart, your back, your brain,
and then, and only then, it is handed to you.
